Xbox 360 full patch coming Monday
11 Mar 2011
You may have recently read that Atari released some optimisation for Xbox 360 earlier today. However, after releasing this, they also said in a statement when the full patch, that we’ve all been waiting for, is being released. The patch, that is going to fix many of the community based features, is going to be released this coming Monday (the 14th of March) at 9am GMT and 1am PT. This is what it will fix:
Improve login process to allow a higher volume of successful connections Increase online stability across all multiplayer functionality Improve performance and stability of Friends List and Friend Invites Enable Club and MyTDULife functionality Enable Co-Op races Enable weather while offline Address an issue where players can get a Lancia which has no car data (the patch should prevent this from occurring in the future, and restore players who are currently affected by the issue) [Source]
Finally, after over a month of waiting we will be able to consistently play with our friends and use the features that we bought the game for. I am most looking forward to using the club feature. In Test Drive Unlimited 1 the clubs were probably the most fun aspect of the game, in my opinion. Sadly this update is for Xbox 360 alone. However the PS3 update should hopefully come soon, this will be down to approval by Sony.
