Email exchange with GMDestra related to DLC1

It was all the way back in mid April when we were told ‘the next patch is almost here‘ and my prediction for when the DLC would be available for consoles has been and gone. At this point and for the past few weeks, the question has been asked; ‘has the patch even been sent to Microsoft and Sony?’. As we weren’t getting any answers in the forums or on the Atari forum, I thought I would send GMDestra (Head of the community team for Atari) a email and ask him personally.
This is what I sent:
Hi Noel,
Just to put a lot of minds at ease, would it be possible to confirm that the patches for Xbox and PS3 have definitely been sent for approval by Microsoft and Sony?

At this point, I was hoping for a quick reply saying ‘Yes… they have been sent for approval and now it is out of our hands…’ or something along those lines. Sadly, that isn’t what I received:

What does this mean then? One, GMDestra actually doesn’t know or, two, he doesn’t want to break it to us that the patch hasn’t even been sent off to Microsoft and Sony. I would like to believe the former, however the latter seems more plausible as he is the head of the community team for TDU2, so surely he gets notified of everything. But saying that, we all know that communication at Atari is a problem, so maybe he genuinely doesn’t know!
I’ve sent an email to Erik and and am waiting on a reply now. I’ll make sure to keep you all up to date!

Hi Josh,
At this time we’re unable to make any comments on the progress of the console patches or indeed for Test Drive Unlimited 2 or for that matter any other details about further TDU2 DLC or enhancements

TDU2 is nearly banned from my console now unfortunatelly. I can’t even resell it, nobody wants it.

I don’t even care about this fail game. I am waiting for months now for them to fix the “save data corupt” error. I won’t start the game over. It’s 80 hours for the love of god. Anyways…the only thing i can do to get my revenge is to not buy atari game ever again. And i’m talking into that as many people as i can.

Excuse my bad English but i live in the same town as Eden Softwares and i think its true that they know or not what to do and happen with this game of consoles.
they strike for work and lack of respects from Atari because the feeling and respects are just not to be felt and I think that is a big issue.
buit i also knoe from the people around here that eden are not working now as fully compatible as possible and i think maybe pushing the game to the edge of the brink of the end of its life too soon
